Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: o Develop and implement a long-term quality strategy that supports the overall business objectives. o Drive quality initiatives that enhance product quality, reduce cost, and increase customer satisfaction. o Align quality standards with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. 2. Quality Management: o Oversee the entire quality management system (QMS) to ensure consistent performance and compliance with internal and external standards (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.). o Lead quality assurance, control, and testing protocols to prevent defects and ensure continuous improvement. o Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and ensure they are met or exceeded. 3. Process Improvement: o Analyse existing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure top-notch product quality. o Lead cross-functional teams to implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies. o Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting a proactive approach to problem-solving. 4. Vendor & Supplier Quality: o Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet required quality standards. o Conduct audits and assessments to ensure supplier quality management systems align with organizational objectives. o Work closely with procurement teams to ensure that suppliers provide products that meet stringent quality requirements. 5. Customer Focus & Satisfaction: o Act as the key point of contact for quality-related customer issues, ensuring rapid response and resolution. o Lead initiatives to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable quality improvement plans.
