Job description: Job name: Finance and IT Director Position the candidate is reporting to: Chennai General Manager Positions reporting to him Finance & IT departments Minimum academic background: Cost Accountant (Certified by the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants) Experience required: Candidate should be a qualified Cost Accountant (ICMA) Around 15 years’ total experience, of which at least 3 - 5 years in handling Finance Department with direct IT responsibility in Mid-size Multinational manufacturing companies, preferably in the Auto Sector Main Skills: Analytical / General accounting Group Reporting Cash Management, CAPEX management Tax, customs, GST management Legal Auditors management A/R – A/P management IT – Management tools for accounting, reporting, treasury. ERP – Network skills management Objective driven, accountability for results, KPI’s General purpose, contribution of the job: In charge of the integration, organization, and implementation of the Finance, Controlling and IT functions. This includes the monthly / quarterly / yearly closings, the budget and strategy financial exercises, linked to the Local, Regional and Corporate General Management. His analysis and input are key to support the performance and contribute to the success of the entity. He must have a transverse vision of the Company’s information systems and be able to make them evolve according to the objectives of the Company.
